Englefield Village Hall is extremely well equipped. After an extensive refurbishment in 2020, the Hall offers a bright and modern space and a traditional and idyllic setting.
The Hall can accommodate groups of up to 40 people seated at tables or in a theater style configuration.
The Hall measures approximately 12.5 metres long by 5.5 metres wide, offering 74m2 of floor area.
Facilities
The following facilities are available:
- Large, well lit and spacious hall, with patio doors onto the rear garden
- 4 individual unisex toilets, including disabled persons WC with baby change
- 40 chairs and 6 tables (183cm x 69cm)
- Air-source underfloor heating
- Superfast broadband with Wi-Fi connection (Provided by Gigaclear’s Community Hub Scheme)
- Fully equipped kitchen including:
- 2 under counter fridges and an under counter freezer
- Professional electric range cooker
- Dishwasher
- Hot water urn
- Cutlery and crockery for 50 people
- Serving hatch to Hall
- Outdoor patio with large south-facing, lawned garden extending to over 200 m2
Room Capacity
The Hall can accommodate up to 70 people seated in a theatre style seating configuration, although currently the Hall only has 40 chairs.
Up to 40 people can be accommodated at tables.
There is standing room for up to 80 people, with more space available in the rear garden if required.
Car Parking
We strongly encourage use of the free village car park within a short walking distance of the Hall and discourage parking along The Street outside the Hall.
Please drive and park considerately when visiting the village.
